Leo Brunnhofer is the technical founder and developer of tiptilldone.com, the football-tipping platform that opens to the public on 11 June 2026 — the day FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off in Mexico City. He's Austrian by passport, currently based in Siem Reap, Cambodia, where he runs tiptilldone alongside two other businesses: Weirdo.Rocks LLC, an AI automation consulting practice, and Zentro Living, a villa rental operation.
His relationship with the tipping-game category goes back to 2016. That year, with concept input from Manfred Mayrhofer and developer support from Michi and Jürgen, Leo built the first version of what was then called bettilldone for Euro 2016 France. The platform ran four tournaments between 2016 and 2018 (Euro 2016 France, Bundesliga, Premier League, World Cup Russia 2018), peaked at 119 users with 76% activation — unusually high for the category, which benchmarks at 20-40% — and went dormant in 2018 due to server costs.
The 2026 rebuild is more than a refresh. Leo has integrated three capabilities that didn't exist when the original launched: AI predictions for every match with explained reasoning, Fan Consensus data overlaid on every fixture, and Telegram-bot distribution so users can tip directly from their Stammtisch group chat. The platform launches in three languages — German (primary), English, and Slovenian — and operates as a free sponsor-funded prize game (a "Preisausschreiben" under Austrian and German consumer law), not as a betting product.
Build-in-public is core to the project. Leo documents progress on X (@leobrunnhofer), publishes a weekly changelog at tiptilldone.com/changelog, and writes regularly on the company blog about technical and product decisions.
