Feature

Tags explained: How cross-round leaderboards work.

Compare yourself with all Sturm Graz fans worldwide — across all rounds. Tags are the feature Kicktipp doesn't have.

The problem

In Kicktipp, every prediction round exists in a bubble. You see your 15 colleagues, but not how you compare to thousands of other predictors.

The solution: Tags

Tags are group identities that work across rounds. Choose your tags during onboarding or in settings — e.g., "Sturm Graz Fans", "Austria", "Digital Nomads".

Then you see a global leaderboard: How does @leo compare to all other Sturm Graz fans, regardless of which round they play in?

The 6 launch tags

  1. 1.Sturm Graz Fans — The cross-border community AT/SI
  2. 2.Austria — All tippers with AT connection
  3. 3.Germany — DACH community
  4. 4.Digital Nomads — Tippers without a fixed location
  5. 5.Crypto Football — Polymarket-savvy tippers
  6. 6.Stammtisch — The classic pub round

Why this works

Tags create belonging beyond your own round. You tip with your 12 colleagues — but you compete with 500 other fans of your club.

This is the social layer Kicktipp doesn't have. And the reason tags keep working after WC26: Bundesliga, Euro 2028, Champions League — the same leaderboard, the same tag.

How to use tags

  1. 1.Go to Settings → Tags
  2. 2.Choose up to 5 tags (Premium) or 1 tag (Free)
  3. 3.Your name appears automatically in the global leaderboard
  4. 4.Compare at tiptilldone.com/tags/[your-tag]
